Plant Colouring
Plant coloring
We carry out all processes in plant coloring with 2 different plants/colors.
Step 1: Pickling that enables the yarn's ability to take on color.
Step 2: The dye bath itself, where water, plants and yarn are heated and staining occurs.
Step 3: Fixing colors in vinegar water.
Plant coloring is cozy and slow, so there is plenty of time for relaxation and for the knitwear along the way.

We are located in the heart of the UNESCO Global Geopark The South Funen Archipelago, which tells the story of a dramatic sea rise at the end of the last ice age, and how the ice created a very special landscape that has defined the nature and culture of the area for 10,000 years.
We love our Geopark and therefore the tours here are also themed around the islands and nature which is definitely worth experiencing!
